Bloomington, IN. Nov. 14, 2016 – Hanapin Marketing was named one of Ad Age’s 2016 Best Places to Work, it was announced today by Advertising Age. Hanapin was among 50 companies selected for the list and ranks 29th.
Hanapin has continually been a progressive company in both workplace culture and employee benefits since launching in 2004. Recent initiatives include the Get Healthy Program, which employees can use for contagious illnesses and are able to take paid time off for up to two consecutive days, without it deducting from current PTO hours for an unlimited amount of times throughout the year.
The company conducts yearly stay interviews for employees to collect feedback on their current experience at Hanapin and help determine how to make their work environment even better. Each quarter offers a 2nd, 2nd Holiday, a 3-day weekend in the second month on the second Friday of every quarter, as well as volunteer hours for each individual, over 150+ hours of training in an employee’s first year, and fun activities like “Hana-Thanksgiving.”
“Winning this prestigious award, from such a selective governing body, is an exciting moment for our company and all the winners. We’ve worked diligently to create an award-winning culture to help our hardworking and passionate team thrive and that is central to the Hanapin Vision. Productivity, employee engagement, sales, and client satisfaction have all increased as we’ve implemented key changes to help get us to where we are today,” says Hanapin’s Associate Director of HR, Rebecca Reott.
This survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors the best employers in the marketing and media industry, benefiting the industry’s economy, workforce and businesses. The list is based on criteria including workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, demographics and the employee experience.
“The companies on Ad Age’s Best Places to Work represent the cream of the crop in marketing, advertising, media and ad technology,” said Deputy Editor Judann Pollack. “In these highly competitive fields, these 50 stand out for their best-in-class benefits, salaries and hiring practices, but also for creating a compelling culture in which employees are engaged, encouraged and valued. Talent has never been more important in marketing, and our Best Places to Work companies have proven that they can attract and retain the best in the business.”
