Founded in February 2004 by a sole entrepreneur, Pat East, Hanapin Marketing originally began as a pay per click management firm, using PPC to grow clients’ businesses.

Today, Hanapin Marketing employs a team of 19 full-time employees and several independent contractors. Our search engine marketing firm includes web development and search engine specialists who bring significant interactive experience.

It’s been 9 full years of growth and a lot of fun but for us it seems like only yesterday. We would like to thank everyone who has made this company an amazing place to work and to all of our clients!

We would like to officially announce our partnership with WordStream who specializes in developing search marketing software, manages PPC advertising services, and shares online marketing advice via their blog. Hanapin Marketing and The American Red Cross

There’s a lot going on here at Hanapin Marketing. Sometimes amidst all the hustle and bussle of account management and, it’s easy to lose time to highlight what it is that Hanapin is doing to make a difference in people’s lives – beyond the realms of Pay Per Click. That is why we would like to take a moment to talk a little bit more about one of the charities we support.

Since 1917, the Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross has provided disaster relief, services to Armed Forces, emergency preparedness and lifesaving programs to Bloomington and the surrounding communities. Today we serve residents in both Monroe and neighboring Owen County 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. 

Each year they train over 7,000 people in life-saving skills and respond to 30- 40 disasters. In emergencies large and small – house fires, earthquakes, floods – right here in our community or on distant shores, people can count on the Red Cross. Your generous donations of time, money and blood make our services possible. Thank you for your support.

Governed by volunteers and supported by community donations, the American Red Cross is a nationwide network of over 600 chapters and Blood Services regions dedicated to saving lives and helping people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. Led by a million volunteers and 30,000 employees, the Red Cross annually mobilizes relief to families affected by more than 75,000 disasters, trains almost 12 million people in lifesaving skills, and exchanges more than a million emergency messages for U.S. military service personnel and their families. The Red Cross is the largest supplier of blood and blood products to more than 3,000 hospitals across the nation and also assists victims of international disasters and conflicts at locations worldwide.”

Hanapin is always in search of the best and brightest to join our home office here in Bloomington, Indiana. Therefore, we would like to officially welcome Brad Kauffman and Cassie Oumedian to our team!

Brad Kauffman

Before joining Hanapin as a marketing manager, Brad studied consumer marketing at the Kelley School of Business, and worked for Fortune 500 brands and agencies in Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, and Indianapolis. As a former teacher and journalist, he loves to learn new technologies and apply them toward innovative causes and business objectives. Brad loves being back in his home state of Indiana, where he gets to spoil his nieces and nephews, and travel with his 15-year-old dog Otis.

Cassie Oumedian

Cassie Oumedian is an Account Manager with Hanapin Marketing with over four years of online marketing experience combined with a background of ten years of traditional marketing. Cassie has worked with a variety of business-to-business and business-to-consumer verticals in ecommerce and lead generation. With a focus on PPC ecommerce, Cassie has managed AdWords, Bing and Facebook accounts with monthly budgets ranging from $30,000 to six figures+ and has a proven record for delivering results and exceptional client service.
